Update prices using the import tool

If you want to update prices for products in batches, you can conveniently do so using the import tool. In the product import, you can set or update the regular price (Price), sale price (SalePrice), and purchase price (InPrice) of the product. If you're also dealing with multiple currencies or sales channels, you can update the prices differently for each on the product through the import.

Explanation of current fields.

Price Product price (in default currency if currency is not specified in the Currency column). Should not be mapped if empty.
SalePrice Product's sale price (in default currency if currency is not specified in the Currency column).
InPrice

Product's purchase price.

Currency The currency of the price you want to update.
Channel Which sales channel the price should apply to (for example, site.se, site.com). Price is set for the default sales channel if empty.

Important to consider when working with multiple sales channels (such as .se, .com) and currencies is that the Currency and Channel columns always have a value set.

  • Choose the file you want to import.
  • Select the file type in the "File extension" dropdown.
  • Choose "Template type: Product".
  • Choose "Import mode: Insert/update".
  • Press "Next".
  • Ensure that the columns mentioned in the article are mapped to the system's columns.
