Description of the fields that the category page in Merchant Center includes.

Name of the category. Becomes the categories URL. |
| Description |
Texts that can be used in the store if configured. As an example are used in descriptive (SEO) text on a categories product listing page. |
| Default Metadata |
Generated metadata from set up regulations. Regulations can be found and changed under Settings > metadata > category |
| Metadata | Enables you to go past the regulations and set your own specific metadata for the category |
| Products | Shows total amount of products the category contains. The total includes existing products that are in the category + all the products in it's under categories |
| Google category | Field that simplifies mapping against the Google product taxonomy feed. |

Active = The category is shown in the store Inactive = The category is not shown in the store Hidden Category = The category will be hidden in menus and by filtering in the store, but will still be active and can be reached via URL and indexed by search engine. |
