Create a content page with included menu

During the process of creating a stand-alone page, you have the choice to determine whether or not you want the page to include a menu.

When creating a stand-alone page there's the option to choose if you want the page to contain a menu or not.

Example of menu applied on a page in a storefront.

To include a menu on a content page, two steps are needed:

-  Add a page shall contain a menu

-  Link the page in the menu in the menu editor

Add a menu space on a new or existing content page

  • Go to Content (CMS) > Pages and go either in on a existing page or create a new one by clicking on Create new page.
  • To set up a page that will include a menu space, write in the tag menu in the Tags field.
  • Save the page

The page has now support for showing a menu. The next step is to link the page in the menu, in the menu editor, (and create the menu if it's the first time)

Create a menu and add links in it with the menu editor

  • Go to Content (CMS) > Menus and click on create menu.
(If you have already done this then you go into the menu you have set on menu location info pages and add a link to the wished page.)
  • Give the menu a name in the name field.
  • Click in which channels it shall be shown on.
  • Under locations Click in info pages. (Menu location needs to be configured)
  • Then you add the links you want the menu to contain by clicking Add menu items,
  • Under pages add the content pages that shall be sown in the menu.
  • Press on Save menu

Now there's a menu that's shown on existing content pages that have the menu tag included in the Tags field and link that are shown in the menu are those that have been added in the menu.
