Content Blocks settings options

Every content block within the storefront serves a specific purpose. To help you manage and differentiate between these blocks, it's advisable to assign them meaningful names. For instance, if a content block contains a prominent banner, you could label it "Hero Banner." This practice proves especially useful when dealing with multiple content blocks on the same page, enabling easier tracking.

Mobile Presentation Alternatives

When it comes to how your content blocks behave on mobile devices, you have two primary choices: Stack and Collapsed. By default, the Stack option is preselected. However, if you prefer the Collapsed behavior, you'll need to make this adjustment during the initial setup phase of your system.

Display Preferences

The manner in which a content block appears to users is crucial. You're provided with three distinct display settings:

  1. "Always Visible": This default setting ensures the block remains visible at all times, regardless of the device being used to access the page.

  2. "Only Visible on Desktop": With this setting, the content block exclusively displays on desktop devices and remains hidden on mobile devices.

  3. "Only Visible on Mobile": In contrast, this setting ensures the block is exclusively visible on mobile devices, remaining hidden when accessed through desktop devices.

Design Configuration

By default, content blocks are set to the "default" design, implying that they occupy the standard width of the page. However, if you desire a more expansive presence for your content block, you have the option to select "Full Width." This choice will cause the block to stretch across the entire width of the screen. And the Narrow option will make the content a bit slimmer then the default page width. How the different states will be displayed is set by the layout and configuration of your design/page.
