      Can I update existing products and create new ones in the same import?

      Yes, if you want to update existing products and create new ones in the same file, you should use Import Mode: Insert/Update.

      • If the ID column is empty and the product name doesn’t match any existing product, a new product will be created.

      • If the name matches an existing product, that product will be updated.

       

      Recommendation:

      - For existing products, always fill in both the ID and Name columns to ensure accurate updates.

      - Test the import with one or a few products first to ensure the expected result before running a larger import.
